Vizient/AACN Nurse Residency Program Coordinator Call - Going the Extra Mile: Two Approaches for Successful Transition
Our first presenter is showcasing a Learner Profile and 5 Phase Transition Program that they use to create a structured onboarding experience for new graduates. It outlines expectations for the new graduate as well as the preceptor and fosters a supportive transition.
Our second presenter is discussing her organization’s interprofessional education program. This presentation will outline how each discipline fits into the nurse residency program, the data and feedback from nurse residents, challenges, and successes.
