2023 Together - P402 - The Collaborative Approach: Decreasing Surgical Supply Variation and Improving Outcomes - On Demand
Surgical supply utilization and standardization is a difficult issue that many hospitals struggle to address. At MultiCare Health System we found that identifying the supply variation between providers, while a difficult task, was only the first half of the battle. We were able to develop a system that embeds our supply chain and utilization efforts in every level of the healthcare system surrounding procedure areas. Our initiative focuses on building sustainable, data-driven, actionable partnerships with deep clinical and administrative engagements.
