All members of the healthcare team share responsibility for promoting patient safety and enhancing quality of patient care. This educational summit will effectively improve interprofessional collaborative practice and is designed to change the skills and strategy and/or performance of the healthcare team by actively engaging our learners with clinical, quality and patient safety aspects of healthcare and process improvement.

Healthcare professionals will learn with and from their peers, colleagues, and experts who have discovered and uncovered best practices to solve complex problems within an organization.

The 2022 Vizient Connections Summit is designed to give our members the opportunity to share their knowledge, experiences, successes, and lessons learned with each other and presents learners with multiple opportunities to take home real-life, actionable takeaways they can implement at their respective organization.

In their role as members of the healthcare team, learners will be able to:

1. Discuss leading team-based practices for measuring, improving and sustaining high quality healthcare-related practices.
2. Explain how healthcare analytics and/or insights can be used to improve team-based patient care and care delivery.
3. Describe transformational team-based practices that can be used to achieve healthcare performance improvement.
