Vizient/AACN Nurse Residency Program Coordinator Call - Health Equity
This session will focus on introductory health equity content for new graduates. We will establish a firm definition of health equity, health disparity, and social determinants of health and explore the history and prevalence of disparities and injustices to minority populations. With this foundation, we will then discuss nursing actions that can improve these gaps in care and help foster equitable healthcare for all people, regardless of their social determinants.
