Vizient Value Analysis Fundamentals Course – Part 3
Attendee will have exposure to a proven model to implement and manage a Value Analysis program and engage in hands-on learning activities. They will receive valuable tools and techniques that they can apply within their own organization to better manage costs while maintaining a focus on quality care delivery.

1. Design effective Value Analysis forms to collect desired information for decision making
2. Give examples how to improve our New Product Request Form and Clinical Product Evaluation Form based on leading practices
3. Develop a process model that can be applied to your organization and value analysis program
4. Apply Lean tools to improve supply chain and value analysis processes
5. Identify the waste found in value analysis processes
6. Analyze a process map and determine where waste exists
7. Apply A3 problem solving to value analysis and supply chain
8. Use the problem analysis and solution steps of A3 problem solving
9. Demonstrate how to coach others to use the A3 problem solving method
10. Identify the different types of data that are needed to drive decisions in their facilities
11. Identify the appropriate person that should be interpreting different types of data
12. Describe the different types of data that should be included in a project
