Vizient PSO Topical Safety Web Conference Series - Proactive and consistent response to clinical deterioration
This topical safety webinar will describe several different approaches used by health care organizations to recognize clinical deterioration earlier and reduce the number of patient cardiac arrests. These approaches include use of multidisciplinary team rounding whereby high-risk patients are identified and plan of care adjustments are made accordingly. The use of early warning scoring systems and rapid response teams to recognize and respond to clinical deterioration will be discussed. Finally, members will share the data metrics used to track performance improvement over time.
