Subject matter experts from The University of Missouri Health Care’s forYOU team—nationally recognized for their leadership and research on supporting caregivers—will share the infrastructure of their  forYou Team support program and the impact on caregivers in their wellbeing after an adverse events and outcomes on organizational culture of safety.

1.    Describe the experience of caregivers and the 6-stage recovery trajectory in the aftermath of an emotionally challenging clinical event.
2.    Discuss a 3-tiered approach to meet the various needs of clinicians suffering after emotionally challenging events.
3.    Discuss the potential impact of perceived institutional support on an organization’s overall patient safety culture and clinician wellbeing scores.
