TEG of War: When to Utilize Tranexamic Acid

The purpose of this course is to teach learners to interpret TEG results and critique trials surrounding TXA use in multiple disease states to enable learners to describe patient characteristics where TXA use will be most beneficial.

2.    List patient characteristics where tranexamic acid administration provides benefit
3.    Critique literature evaluating tranexamic acid in various clinical settings

4.    List at least one indication for tranexamic acid including off label 
5.    Describe compounding procedure for tranexamic acid
