Out with the Old, In with CabeNUva: The First and Only Long-Acting Injectable HIV treatment

The purpose of this continuing education is to provide more insight on a new FDA-approved HIV-1 therapy. This therapy is considered to be novel, as there are currently no long-acting injectable complete HIV-1 therapies on the market. This learning experience will provide more insight on the epidemiology and pathophysiology of HIV, the current treatments available and specific information pertinent to Cabenuva including, but not limited to, the medication regimen, indication, safety information, and the trials that were completed to assess efficacy and safety of this new regimen.
