More Than Just Methadone: Analyzing MAT for Opioid Use Disorder
This activity will address knowledge gaps that exists with medication assisted therapy for opioid use disorder dosing, monitoring, and regulations. The presentation will go over several aspects of medication assisted therapy such as dosing and monitoring for buprenorphine, methadone, and ER naltrexone. Additionally, the presentation will address legal regulations behind the three medications and how they affect prescribing in the hospital.
