How Health Systems Can Tackle the Opioid Epidemic

This activity will highlight how a comprehensive opioid stewardship program can improve utilization of opioids, improve multi-modal approaches to pain management, optimize prescribing of opioid and naloxone at discharge and minimize drug diversion. These are all challenges currently confronting our health-systems and the strategies leading to success can be different. The exchange of ideas as the ongoing crisis changes will assist our members in sustain and spreading these programs.
