This activity will provide participants an opportunity to learn from experts in the field. This series will provide examples of the challenges and successful implementation and mitigation strategies of regulatory/accreditation rules and standards, how to drill down to uncover the barriers to being successful and how to maintain the gains.
This activity is intended for nurses, quality health professionals, and all other professionals.
At the conclusion of this activity participants should be able to:
- Identify the restraint and seclusion accreditation standards/regulatory requirements to meet compliance
- Describe compliance and mitigation strategies to meet restraint and seclusion standards/regulatory requirements
- Describe how the accreditation/regulatory process positions organizations for effective and reliable delivery of safe, high quality patient care
