Understand the ambulatory care shifts over a 5-years horizon and the operational and economic implications.     Our member planning committee discussed frequent topics of conversations with members to identify and prioritize these needs for this activity.

Chief Operating Officers and Chief Financial Officers

Learning Objectives

1.    Identify which services will be shifting to the ambulatory space over the next 5-years and the pace of the transition.
2.    Describe the financial, operational, and strategic implications of the shifts and the significance of care redesign and scale.
3.    Explain the path of volume vs. value-based strategies as we adapt and move beyond COVID-19.
4.    Identify ambulatory strategies across varying markets.
5.    Explain lessons learned from colleagues who have successfully implemented significant cost reductions, improved operations, invested in creating new revenue streams, and addressed the unique challenges created from the COVID-19 crisis.
