Serving the needs of behavioral health patients continues to be a challenge in most markets.  As health care systems strive to deliver greater value there is a growing awareness of the need to invest in behavioral health services. This webinar series will bring together leaders from Vizient Network and Sg2 membership to learn together, ideate, and create solutions to pressing needs of behavioral health care in this country.  The intent is to align and advance cost, quality and market performance related to this focused opportunity.

1.    Summarize how a variation of models of care for behavioral health patients in the Emergency Department (ED) can reduce ED length of stay and ED boarding, while improving overall facility throughput
2.    Explain how securing a System of CARE that facilitates timely transitions can reduce both ED and inpatient length of stay
3.    Describe behavioral health care models, both inpatient and outpatient, that can specifically reduce labor costs
4.    Outline the various cost saving opportunities within their own behavioral health program
