This activity will discuss recently finalized and proposed rules for reimbursement from Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and how to locate newly approved NTAP drug payments for FY2023, as well as cover the updates that pertain to the reimbursement cycle. The session provides suggestions and tools for assessing current practice and making needed changes. It’s not only about money but about assuring data accuracy.

1.    Discuss recently finalized (IPPS) and proposed (OPPS) rules for reimbursement from Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

2.    Identify how to locate newly approved NTAP drug payments for FY2023.

3.    Identify drug payment requirements, the sources of information and personnel’s responsibilities in a cross-functional multidisciplinary approach to revenue cycle management.
