2021 Nursing Leadership Series - Breaking Down the Walls: Nurses Leading in Alternative Care Environments
May 20, 2021
Health care is complex and has only increased in complexity over the last year. The pandemic highlighted the disparity of care and need for nursing to lead outside of the hospital walls. This program will describe how we can build healthier communities through nursing by examining our current state and future challenges. We will explore the rapidly changing roles of the clinical care nurse across the continuum. Dr. Susan Hassmiller, RN, PhD, FAAN will share the Future of Nursing Report 2030 and we will highlight one nurse’s journey and success of leading care in the community.
