In this activity we will review the benchmarking report first, highlighting trends and best practices that are related to retention and satisfaction of new graduate nurses. Following the benchmarking report review, we will lead coordinators through their site reports, highlighting the data in each section, why it is important, and what it conveys about the organization. Lastly, we will review evaluation tools on the website that coordinators can use to report on their programs to leaders in the organization.

  1. Discuss trends in national data impacting residency retention rates in the Vizient/AACN Nurse Residency ProgramTM
  2. Identify hiring and termination trends in coordinators’ annual site report.
  3. Explain how to use the report to look at survey results and trend them over time.
