This activity will share with the coordinator group the steps that led them to create an LPN TTP at Geisinger. It will also outline the program requirements and structure, curriculum, and lessons learned from their pilot program.

  1. Identify Geisinger's rationale in initialing an LPN transition to practice program
  2. Illustrate eligibility requirements for LPNs newly hired into the Geisinger Northeast region.
  3. Distinguish program structure and curriculum initiatives in providing Geisinger LPN's support in their transition into acute care.
  4. Apply program lessons learned and considerations from pilot program.
