Participants will not only gain awareness of 2026 updates but also practice identifying risk-prone areas and applying mitigation strategies.

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:  
  • Identify new standard and regulatory requirements for 2026.
  • Identify regulatory/accreditation standard challenges with mitigation strategies to meet compliance.
  • Discuss the updated Accreditation 360 for Joint Commission and the comparison to the CMS CoPs.
  • Describe compliance and mitigation strategies for high-risk areas identified for each of the functional chapters.
  • Identify changes and updates from CMS and the accrediting organizations for 2026.
