Michael Callahan, a nationally recognized advisor to health care providers on the Patient Safety Act, will discuss the value of conducting privileged patient safety activities in a protected space to improve the quality of health care services and to reduce risk to patients. Organizations will learn how to best develop, update and implement your Patient Safety Evaluation System and related policies to address adverse patient events in a spirit of collegial and Just Culture approaches.
