Impact of COVID-19 on Antimicrobial Stewardship in Acute Care: National Research Project Kickoff

This presentation explores COVID’s impact on three facets of antimicrobial stewardship. First, how antimicrobial stewardship roles have changed during the COVID-19 pandemic, second we will explore the impact COVID has on the laboratory, including adoption of rapid diagnostics and changes made to mitigate shortage issues and finally address participation requirements and survey methodology of the national research project.
