Implementing Biosimilars: Lessons from the frontline

Biosimilars offer a tremendous opportunity to reduce the cost of care. However, unlike generic drugs, biosimilars present unique challenges in implementation and processes. To be successful, health systems must fully understand the barriers and opportunities available with biosimilar implementation. This webinar will discuss the results of a Vizient survey of biosimilar implementation and give examples of best practices, tips and tricks, and lessons learned from Vizient health systems that have successfully implemented biosimilars.
