Tachyarrhythmias with a Pulse

This activity will address this need by presenting the basic pathophysiology of various tachyarrhythmias, and summarizing the fast-changing clinical literature and guidelines for the management of patients with these conditions. The presentation will include various active learning experiences including a patient case, and basic ECG recognition in which will give a solid baseline knowledge for pharmacists to use in future experiences in this area.

- Identify proper pharmacologic treatment options for various types of tachyarrhythmias
- Evaluate literature for comparing rate versus rhythm control in various types of tachyarrhythmias
