Vizient/AACN Nurse Residency Program Coordinator Call - Mentoring in the Nurse Residency Program
In the first presentation, Lauren and Roxy will present a rounding tool and process that they use to touch base with new graduates and their mentors to identify any issues as early as possible. They will highlight the benefits of the mentoring program in their organization as well as the tools that help them to be successful.
In the second presentation, Kristina will show an online platform that she is using to track and assign mentorships. She will discuss the importance of mentorship at their organization and her struggles with keeping up with all of the mentor relationships. She will then outline the process of creation for the online platform. She will discuss the buy in that was required and lessons learned while creating it.
