Matt brings more than 25 years of experience across hospitality, technical training, academia, and healthcare. A multipotentialite and lifelong learner, he joined the University of California in San Diego in 2016 and transferred to UCLA Health in 2023. As a Lean Specialist, he partners with leaders and frontline teams to drive process improvement, strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration, and build sustainable systems to advance strategic priorities. Matt’s professional passions center on continuous improvement, people development, technological innovation, and advancing health equity.
