Timing of Resumption of Antithrombotics After Stroke

The purpose of this activity is to review the pathophysiology, clinical presentation of both ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, as well as recommendations specifically regarding resumption of antithrombotic agents. Most recent guidelines will be presented, as well as studies or systematic review articles that have been published since these guidelines to present the latest literature. This literature will focus on the safety and efficacy of these agents after these clinical events with explanations on how to apply this data to real patients.
