Therapeutic Vaccines: What They Are, How They’re Used, and What’s on the Horizon
This activity will provide participants with a clear understanding of what therapeutic vaccines are, how they work, and where they may be used in clinical practice. Learners will gain a high-level framework for recognizing intended patient populations and the general place of therapeutic vaccines within treatment pathways. The session will also touch on clinical use and key operational, administration, and safety considerations. Finally, participants will review trends in therapeutic vaccine development and examine near-term agents in the pipeline to understand what may be expected as this category continues to grow.
