Safety, Reliability and Management Systems Workshop 2.0: Executing and Sustaining Through Crises
Decades of experience have shown more rapid safety improvement and greater sustainability with bold transparency, unwavering accountability, and continuous, focused problem-solving. During this two-day Vizient Workshop, participants will explore how to integrate these essential elements and effectively create and sustain safety and reliability with robust management systems. Diverse content expertise, group exercises, individual coaching and custom action plan design will help bring this to light.
This activity is intended for physicians, nurses, quality, safety and risk professionals, and senior clinical executives.
At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Discuss the primary reasons safety efforts succeed or fail
- Summarize the necessary elements for high reliability health care today
- Describe leaders’ roles, competencies, and behaviors necessary for success
- Outline an action plan for standard work to foster execution and sustainability through crises
