For more than 32 years, the 340B Drug Pricing Program has provided financial help to hospitals and other covered entities serving vulnerable communities to manage rising prescription drug costs. During this session, Vizient expert Greg Medley, PharmD, will discuss recent trends related to reporting requirements, reimbursement rates and pricing, and other key challenges impacting health system pharmacies' ability to optimize the 340B Drug Discount. The discussion will also touch on shifts in site of care, legislative and regulatory activity, manufacturer threats to contract pharmacy and the outlook for 340B overall.
