Milrinone and SAH
In this activity, learners can expect to learn about the evidence regarding the use of milrinone to prevent delayed cerebral infarct in patients who had an aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage. Milrinone's place in therapy is not fully addressed in the NeuroCrit Care guidelines and the AHA/ASA guidelines and learners can expect to understand why there is no concrete guidance. Additionally, milrinone's mechanism of action will be described. Dosing and side effects will also be addressed.
