Joint Medical and Quality Executives Networks Meeting

April 20, 2022
Over the course of the COVID-19 pandemic, healthcare providers experienced severe operational constraints across their organizations. These constraints manifested in each domain of critical resources (infrastructure, supplies/equipment, and staffing). As the US emerges into an “endemic” period, Vizient’s research with its member organizations, along with insights from industry data, suggests that provider organizations will continue to be challenged to balance the supply and demand for resources in the short-term while reorienting care delivery models for the long-term.
