Introduction to preceptorship
Learners will gain practical tools and strategies to support advanced practice providers (APPs) through structured preceptorship. This activity focuses on developing skills in teaching, evaluation, communication, and role modeling. Participants will explore adult learning principles, feedback techniques, and conflict management strategies, while learning how to create a supportive and effective learning environment. Through real-world scenarios and reflective practice, preceptors will be better prepared to guide new APPs toward confident, independent practice.
