Glycemic Control Optimization Strategies

Avoidable hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia events in hospitalized patients have been identified as an area of opportunity by the Centers of Medicare and Medicaid Services. Staring in the year 2023 a new Electronic Clinical Quality Measure (eCQM) reportable to CMS has gone into effect. This webinar aims to provide an update about the new reportable quality measure and present contemporary approaches to glycemic control optimization by pharmacy departments in Academic Medical Center settings.
