The Fungus Among Us: Review of Multidrug-resistant Candida auris
This activity will describe the drug-resistance mechanism of Candida auris, as well as standard and potential drugs for treating C. auris infection. We will also review proper screening techniques that are recommended in the hospital setting. With this knowledge, healthcare professionals will be better equipped to combat the growing resistant rates of Candida auris.
