This activity presents a growing problem within the landscape of patient care. The goal in this continuing education is to introduce pharmacists to infusion services and how the pharmacist skill set can uniquely be utilized to fill the gap of patient care. Also outline how pharmacists can work with hospital leadership for strategic planning for expanding healthcare by using alternative sites of care like non-provider-based infusion centers.
