This activity will provide learners with clinical and operational insight on what may impact pharmacy practice in 2025. Reimbursement, medication safety, pipeline approvals and supply chain challenges will be the focus.

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, pharmacists should be able to:  

  • Discuss important updates in reimbursement and medication safety that may influence practice in early 2025
  • Identify key brand, generic, and biosimilar approvals that are expected to occur in 2025 and the potential market impact.
  • Analyze the impact of the FDA’s decision to withhold full approval of andexanet on anticoagulant reversal treatment decisions.
  • Identify the sentinel events of 2024 and potential supply chain challenges in 2025.
