Clinical Updates in Acute Coronary Syndrome Management
The goal of this activity is to provide pharmacists and pharmacy technicians with the latest updates in ACS management based on the 2023 ESC Guidelines. It will also include a review of supporting literature to enhance understanding and inform the selection of long-term non-antiplatelet and anticoagulant medications, such as empagliflozin, sacubitril/valsartan, and beta blockers, in ACS management. By comparing previous guidelines with the latest recommendations and incorporating trial evidence demonstrating improved clinical outcomes, this presentation will highlight key updates in ACS management. The aim is to help healthcare providers better understand these recent changes and apply them effectively in future pharmacological therapy.
