Cellular Therapy Pharmacist Justification and Implementation
Cellular therapy is growing at an exponential rate. Cellular therapies include CAR-T, gene therapy, TIL cells and possibly bispecifics. These therapies come with challenges such as REMS programs, high cost, and patient management. Clinical pharmacists acting as specialists in this area can help optimize patient care and financial outcomes for the health care system. Financial justification for positions and metrics for success will be discussed by the panel, as well as successful examples of position implementation and lessons learned.
