2025 LISN Supply Chain Institute
LISN Supply Chain Institute is an exclusive, in-kind offering for LISN member organizations, collaboratively developed by Vizient and the LISN Strategic and Operational Excellence Subcommittee. This unique offering, which contributes to the execution of its Workforce Advancement strategy defined in LISN’s strategic plan, will help attendees gain a greater understanding of contemporary spend management principles, category management contracting, negotiation skills and clinical supply chain integration. Participants will be able to join unique networking opportunities with LISN colleagues from across the nation.
Target Audience
- LISN member supply chain management staff serving between years 1 and 3 in each organization.
Participant Requirements: Ability to log into Vizientinc.com with basic knowledge on how to use Contract Catalog, user profile settings, network group communities and applicable Vizient tools. Know the difference between local and Vizient national or aggregation group contracts.
As a reminder, Institute classes are camera-on and highly interactive. We keep our class size small to enable individualized attention and hands-on learning.
Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Identify supply chain managements fundamental principles.
- Discuss essential supply chain terms, contract types, and the significance of using metrics for performance improvement.
- Recognize supplier performance management and effective techniques for managing and evaluating suppliers.
- Demonstrate negotiation skills specific to supply chain contexts and analyze case studies for effective application.
- Assess the significance of business continuity planning in the supply chain and gain insights into developing and implementing comprehensive plans.
