The 2022 Vizient Member Networks Nursing Leadership Series: Navigating Workforce Challenges: Understanding the Landscape - On Demand

The pandemic has highlighted the pressure to manage immediate workforce issues, however nurse leaders still need to be developing solutions to address future nursing workforce challenges. Recruitment into nursing and clinical care support roles has always been challenging but the fallout from the pandemic along with the increase in complexity of care has made the nursing profession less attractive. This program will highlight key objectives and points around planning for enough adequately prepared nurses to ensuring a safe, diverse, and effective healthcare system and will explore two nurse executives’ approaches to addressing the challenge of the future workforce today.
