2021 Nursing Leadership Series - Building Diverse Nursing Teams: The Value of Perspective at All Levels - On Demand

Building diverse nursing teams is essential in today’s environment to create a healthy culture which fosters inclusion and where all nurses feel valued.  There is a need to recognize the importance of our increasingly diverse workforce and populations we serve to understand the unique perspectives and talents of everyone. Deliberate and focused work to understand and increase diversity will provide the opportunity to maximize engagement and value for all.  This program will review the benefits building diversity in nursing leadership and the impact it can have on inclusion and employee satisfaction.  We will explore how equity can impact workforce issues and the importance of ensuring equal resources and opportunities for everyone.  Our panel of experts will share their perspectives and experiences and offer suggestions to take action in building diverse nursing teams.
