W5:2 Equity in Motion: Simulating Social Determinants of Health
Addressing health equity is essential to improving quality outcomes and enhancing nursing professional practice initiatives. Social determinants of health (SDoH) include everyday things such as where we live, social support, and access to health care, which can play a significant role in our health. NRP coordinator and NPD Practitioners at an Academic Health System (AHS) recognized the significance of incorporating SDoH into the Nurse Residency Program (NRP).
