Updates in the Management of Hospitalized Patients with Opioid Use Disorder

In this talk, we will review recent federal policy changes that make it easier to prescribe medications for OUD to hospitalized patients. Faculty experts will discuss the rationale and potential risks and benefits of traditional and novel buprenorphine initiation strategies and review best practices for perioperative management among patients on medication for opioid use disorder treatment.
