Drug shortages are complex and multifaceted. Understanding the cause of shortages, what’s being done to address them by regulatory and industry stakeholders helps health care institutions address shortages. Understanding how to identify shortages, how to assess their severity, and how to mitigate their impact will ensure patient care is not affected by shortages. Through this CE, we will provide attendees the resources and tools to streamline the management of drug shortages.
