Dr. Mediwala Hornback is the System Manager for Antimicrobial Stewardship Pharmacy across the MUSC Health System, supporting over 10 hospitals. Her main practice site is at the academic medical center in Charleston, SC where she also serves as the program director of the Infectious Diseases pharmacy residency. Her areas of interest include stewardship expansion, Gram-negative mechanisms of resistance, diversity and inclusivity initiatives, and trainee education across a diverse population of students, residents and fellows.
