Stacy Lauderdale, PharmD, BCPS
Stacy Lauderdale, PharmD, BCPS, is Associate Vice President of Evidence-Based Medicine at Vizient. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Pharmacy and completed a specialized Drug Information Residency with IU Health and Eli Lilly and Company.
In her role at Vizient, Dr. Lauderdale leads the development and oversight of evidence-based clinical pharmacy resources that support health system decision-making across the continuum of medication use. Her team is responsible for formulary and therapeutic assessments, clinical pipeline monitoring, pharmacy supply resiliency initiatives, maintenance of the Essential Medication List, pharmacy communications, continuing education programming, and the VerifiedRx podcast. She also oversees initiatives that help health systems evaluate emerging therapies, including high-cost and specialty medications, in an increasingly complex evidence environment.
Dr. Lauderdale serves as facilitator of the Vizient Clinical Pharmacy Council, a national network of health-system pharmacy leaders focused on advancing medication stewardship, quality and safety, clinical pharmacy practice, operational excellence, and innovation. Her areas of expertise include evidence-based medicine, formulary management, emerging therapies, medication policy, and strategic pharmacy leadership. She is a speaker, author, and podcast host, and has published on a variety of topics related to evidence evaluation and therapeutic controversies.
