TH5:2 Critical Thinking Cards: Building Communication Confidence
Nurse residents are arriving at the workplace with minimal communication skills. This gap is validated when examining low scores on the initial Survey under the Communication and Leadership section. Using critical thinking cards to practice communication skills with clinical experts can result in best practices for patients and confidence for new nurses.

- Implement critical thinking communication cards as an educational tool to increase nurse residents' confidence in communication skills.
- Identify at least two effective communication strategies that enhance patient care and safety.
