ForwardTH2:2 National NRP Coordinator Council: Breaking Down Silos

In 2022, our organization identified gaps in Nurse Residency Programs (NRPs) operating in silos. To address this, we formed a national Nurse Residency Program Coordinator Council (NRPCC) to share best practices and drive innovation. Since its launch in January 2023, the NRPCC has enhanced mentorship, standardized curricula, and increased accredited programs.

At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Identify the challenges and limitations of siloed Nurse Residency Programs (NRPs) and discuss the impact on patient care and nurse training.
- Describe and evaluate the role and mission of the Nurse Residency Program Coordinator Council (NRPCC) in fostering innovation and standardizing best practices across national NRPs.
