Pharmacokinetics, Therapeutic Drug Monitoring, and Pharmacogenetics of Antifungals

This presentation will discuss patient cases involving invasive fungal infections, available antifungal agents, and their appropriate use. It will focus on how to perform therapeutic drug monitoring for flucytosine, voriconazole, posaconazole, and isavuconazole, as well as how to use genetic information to guide treatment recommendations involving voriconazole. By the end of this presentation, those in the audience will be familiar with these concepts and be able to apply this information to clinical practice.
