2026 Impact - W92 - Expanding Access Without Adding Resources: Care Models That Deliver - On Demand
Meeting growing demand often depends on how care is organized — not just how it’s staffed. At Stanford Health Care Tri-Valley, an advanced practice provider (APP)-led comanagement model expanded joint arthroplasty volume while maintaining low complication rates and stable length of stay. In outpatient oncology, MemorialCare’s multidisciplinary team redesigned clinic workflows using benchmark data and Lean methods to reduce variation, improve scheduling and enhance patient experience. These efforts point to a common opportunity — rethinking roles and workflows to create capacity and improve performance — without adding resources. Join the conversation to explore what this could look like in your setting.
